Toshiba Computer Systems including Notebooks, Pocket PCs and Servers are covered by one, two or three years standard warranty depending on the model, effective from the date of purchase.

Notebooks
All Toshiba notebooks are covered by a one-year international limited carry-in warranty. This standard warranty can be extended to up to four years.

Pocket PCs

Toshiba Pocket PCs are covered by an European 1 Year warranty, valid from the date of purchase.

EMEA Limited Warranty Booklet for Pocket PC

Servers

• Magnia SGxx series: 3 years carry-in

• All other servers: 3 years on-site

All Toshiba servers are covered by a three-year warranty in the country of purchase.

How to access support
Step 1: Perform self-diagnosis

• Check if your PC is charged / connected to the mains and switched on correctly
• Revert the notebook to its original configuration by removing options and external connections.
• Take into account newly installed software programmes that may be causing problems and remove them.

Step 2: Note important information
In order for the Authorised Service Provider to assist you quickly and effectively, certain information is required. Please ensure that you have noted the following:

• Product name and model number

• Serial number
• Date of purchase (as stated on the invoice)
• Nature of the problem
• Hardware and software configuration
• All error messages that appear on your screen

Step 3: Find an Authorised Service Provider
The Global Authorised Service Provider web pages will provide you with the name and address of a Toshiba Authorised Service Provider or a Toshiba National Office, who will be able to assist you should you have a warranty claim.
