Buy a Toshiba PC with one of the following Microsoft operating systems between 2 June 2012 and
31 January 2013 and you can benefit from a promotional offer to download Windows 8 Pro:
- Windows 7 Ultimate
- Windows 7 Professional
- Windows 7 Home Premium
- Windows 7 Home Basic
All aspects of the Windows 8 Upgrade offer, including redemption, eligibility, payment, access to the software and support will be carried out by Microsoft.
If you purchase a Toshiba PC with the above Windows 7 software, you can register for the Windows 8 Upgrade offer until end of January 2013 at the following address:

Once you have registered, Microsoft will send you a confirmation email and provide you with further information about when the software upgrade will be available.
In a further step, you will be sent a promotion code together with instructions explaining how to acquire the Windows 8 Upgrade.
Once you've made your payment, you will be able to download the software.
Note: backup media (e.g. a DVD) will be available but will incur an extra cost.
