The Toshiba group has adopted two complementary approaches in order to make Environmental Vision 2050 a reality.

  • The "Energy approach" focuses on optimising the energy mix and reducing CO2 emissions,
  • The "Eco Products approach" concentrates on the creation of new products in harmony with the environment.
  • We are committed to improving the global eco-effi ciency of Toshiba group activities by a factor of 10* by 2050 by means of multi-directional approaches and collaboration with our stakeholders (customers, employees, suppliers, partners, public sector, etc.).

  • LED lamps can reduce CO2 emissions by more than 80% compared with incandescent light bulbs.
