That means only a single dedicated QKD fibre is required to make existing networks quantum-safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ULTIMATE SECURITY<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All Toshiba QKD systems use an efficient implementation of BB84, the first and most rigorously studied QKD protocol, proven secure through years of research. The BB84 protocol provides inherent protection from quantum computers and any future advances in mathematics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FAST AND COST-EFFECTIVE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LE is Toshiba&#8217;s most affordable QKD system, but as well as its enhanced service channel flexibility, it&#8217;s also remarkably powerful providing 150kb\/s secure key rates and 24dB optical loss budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SIMPLE SETUP&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toshiba&#8217;s Flexible QKD System offers markedly simple installation and setup. Once positioned in a standard 19&#8243; rack mount, the QKD hardware offers automated start-up and real-time optimisation, thanks to active stabilisation technology. Service channels are presented via three separate outputs, so they can be integrated as required within your existing data-carrying network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230;AND EASY OPERATION<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A user-friendly interface, accessed through a web-browser, provides real-time and historical performance data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KEY MANAGEMENT &amp; DELIVERY SYSTEM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toshiba\u2019s REST-based Key Management System provides efficient and reliable key storage and delivery. It uses ETSI industry standards, so it&#8217;s compatible with leading encryptor vendors and other applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>INCREDIBLY STABLE. This avoids the need for recalibration of the system due to temperature-induced changes in the fibre lengths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reliability and stability of our QKD systems has been demonstrated in numerous deployments. For example, the Cambridge Quantum Network ran for 18 months with the only interruptions due to power failures and operational down time to introduce new software.
